Keegan Stewart is a Queens-based textile artist, photographer, and writer. Through both documentary and conceptual practices, Stewart explores butchness, queer nightlife, the archive, and legibility. Their recent projects employ a process of physical pixelation, translating their photographic work into large crochet pieces. Stewart is a film lab technician and freelance nightlife photographer. They are currently studying at The New School in New York City and will graduate in May 2027 with a BFA in photography and a BA in journalism.
